Planning- Examples of Time Lapse

Within our music video, me and my group have all come up with the idea of using a time lapse. We all believe this will be effective as it can be a fast way of showing how time is passing. Our initial idea is to use a time lapse about three within our video which results in having a time lapse for each verse.  This would follow Andrew Goodwins theory of Amplification in terms of something repeating itself. Below are two music videos i found which include a time lapse which may be influential.

CeeLo Green- Bright Lights Bigger City

Within this music video we can see various examples of a time lapse. Firstly we see one with cars, then lights. Its almost as if they have been merged together. I really like the time lapse with the cars as i think visually its very satisfying and looks really effective.

Basia-Drunk on Love

Although this music video is quite old, i really like the use of time lapse within the first 30 seconds. It features one of cars which i think is presented really effectively. The angel of the camera is positioned in a really unusual way resulting in the traffic within the time lapse seem larger.
