Review of making the music video

Whilst creating my Music Video I found out alot of new aspects that come with this. Through exploring Final Cut I was able to use different aspects of editing. I found using Final Cut a little stressful at times, as when editing layering all the shots up so that my lip syncing was in time with the music was quite a challenge as there were so many shots. However, it was worth it to see my video in perfect timing.

The filming process took alot of determination as wearing thin items of clothing on the Southbank in Novemeber/December is not good. I was frozen during this process and it was quite uncomfortable having to carry on filming whilst shiverring, but it had to be done and after several nights of filming I think we were all happy that it was over! Despite the fact it was cold, the dedo light ran out and on one occasion our memory cards didn't work we did have fun whilst filming.

I feel that our use of camera work demonstrated in the video shows a sense of variety...

Top left Mid Shot                                                                            Top right High Angle  Shot
Bottom left wide shot                                                                   Bottom right Low Angle Shot

We also used extreme close ups of my eyes which were used throughout the video which illustrate our concept of our artist viewing the City that she lives in at night time.
